Welcome to the ACHS 12th Man Fan page on Stingray Nation!
UNDERSTANDING:
Football Boosters 12th Man Club is a separate entity from the ACHS Booster Club. We are here to raise money efficiently for the ACHS Football Team’s and assist Coach Sullivan with meeting the program needs. We will work with ACHS boosters to achieve the goals of Atlantic Coast High School from a football perspective only.
EXPLANATION:
In order to support our Team & Coach’s, build on the first year initiatives, and maximize dollars from concession, merchandise and sponsorship sales we are now forming committee’s for the 2011 Stingray Football Season.
GOALS:
To organize the football booster arm of the ACHS Booster Association in an effort to provide better organization and achieve the goals set by Coach Sullivan and improvements to the current fundraising, concession, program, sponsorship, efforts announcing/scoreboard efforts that are on-going.
Work with the School, Athletic Director, Coach and ACHS Booster Association to maximize the efficiency and the money collected for the goals above.
Create transparency through better communication and separation of the Football Booster program to meet goals in a timely manner.
Create a strong and involved Football Booster program through membership, committees, and parent involvement.
COMMITTEES:
Oversight Committee – all committee requests are reviewed/approved here
Concessions – Assign vendors, get equipment, volunteers
Fundraising/Events – golf tournament, Banners, Sponsor Board, Chicken Dinners, etc.
Merchandise Sales – Seat Cushions, Face decals
Programs – Game time announcements, Game Programs, Special Announcements
Miscellaneous – Coach Sullivan’s Initiatives

Stingray Football Parents,
On behalf of the 12th Man Club, I would like to welcome you to the Atlantic Coast High School Football family. There are many ways to get involved with helping Coach Sullivan provide the best experience possible for our young men. First, we have several fund raising initiatives that are all year endeavors and some that run at specific times during the year. The money raised will help pay for player equipment, apparel, gear, camps, meals, etc. and help defray the cost that would fall to the players or their families.
Second, volunteering for varsity concessions, parking, and other game day duties is a wonderful way of meeting the Stingray family and playing a big role on the team. The duties are vital to the game time experience. In general, JV parents will work the Varsity games and the Varsity parents will work the JV games. Many of last year’s JV parents will be moving up to Varsity, so we will need to fill those shoes for the 2011 season.
For those that are in a business that can buy sponsorships, or, if you can connect with other businesses to participate, we have attached a form that explains the levels, amounts, and exposure the sponsor receives.
We will have a 12th Man booster meeting within the next few weeks to discuss these initiatives further along with online information. Remember, volunteers are key to our success to help Coach Sullivan reach the team goals for the 2011 season.

Stingray Booster Volunteers Needed
Hey, parents! If you are willing to put in a little sweat equity into your student athlete’s sport, sign up for the Stingray Boosters Meetup. It’s free and allows you to pick a time, place, and task as your schedule allows. Not many of us can commit full time to a season, but, still want to do our part. We also will use the site to track hours that will be credited for Booster Bucks. These credits can be exchanged for items such as apparel, game tickets, and other services. It is also a great way to get to know the people you will be around for the next 2-4 years.
Using Coach Sullivan’s quote, “The dream is free, the journey is not.” Neither are the perks for the players. There are camps, athletic gear, and other goodies that we want to provide for the team.
